OK, weather, we get it. It's Fall! Time to start pulling out sweaters and jackets and coats. Some will fit, some will not. Some are too long, too warm (ladies of a certain age!), too puffy, too lightweight. Some you are tired of and are ready for new ones. Those are the ones we want!
Our official first press release for a year-long celebration! --
World’s Window, 332 W. 63rd Street, will celebrate 30 years in business in 2014 with a year of events - planned as a way of thanking their customers while supporting local causes. The store, one of the most popular in Brookside, features a rich array of clothing, gift and décor items from around the world.
Over 850 nearly-new and gently worn garments hang in size-runs, ready for this Thursday's "Fabulous Flipping Favorites" clothing drive for Rose Brooks Center, Kansas City's largest domestic violence agency.
Our 8th annual spring fund-raiser on Thursday, April 18 from 6 - 8 pm (hopefully outside in front of our store) will provide needed clothing and funds for the women at Rose Brooks. We'll hold the sale, rain or shine!
