420 coats and sweaters on hangars and neatly folded in boxes. All delivered to Rose Brooks Center. All due to the generosity of our customers. You are amazing. You donated. You shopped. You partied. Because of you, women and children at Rose Brooks Center will be wrapped in warmth. Thank you!!
Our 6th annual coat and sweater drive for Rose Brooks Center gets underway Monday, October 12th. Our temperatures have stayed warm enough that many of us haven't pulled out sweaters and coats yet. However, now is a great time to dig in your closets to find coats and sweaters that you are ready to share.
It's that time of year again. As the weather gets cooler, perhaps with some frost on the ground, we start pulling out sweaters and jackets and coats to keep us warm throughout the winter. At Rose Brooks Center, the women and children that arrive for shelter from domestic violence often come without coats and many times without any additional clothing besides what they are wearing.
