Ready, Set, Go – Hundreds of Garments Ready for “Flipping Favorites” $10 Shopping Benefit for Rose Brooks Center

READY - Freshly steamed and tagged hundreds of new and nearly new women’s clothing items are being readied in the basement at World’s Window for Thursday, May 5th's Flipping Favorites Fiesta. World’s Window clothing vendors have sent donations of over 200 new items included on the $10 racks. From vintage to bohemian to contemporary casual and dressy and business attire, the racks are filled with such variation it’s like shopping from all your girlfriends’ closets.
SET - The “stage” is almost set for a Fabulous Flipping Favorites Fiesta on Thursday, May 5th when the sidewalk in front of World’s Window will turn become party-central for our 11th annual shopping benefit for Rose Brooks Center. Tents, flags, banners, paper flowers will create the back drop and our festively-dressed staff will enhance the mood. A giant 15 foot tall Frida Khalo puppet will welcome shoppers. Rose Brooks volunteers will be on hand to accept Golden Ticket admissions and enter customers into drawings. Customers will be offered margaritas, taquitos and other treats.
GO - Promptly at 5 p.m., shoppers holding Golden Tickets or paying a $10 admission donation get first pick at all of the $10 donated clothing with 100% of the money going directly to Rose Brooks. Shoppers also get 20% off regular World’s Window merchandise with an additional 10% of the World’s Window sales will be also donated to Rose Brooks. (World's Window will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 5th and re-open at 5 p.m. for our fiesta. Our "back room" will be closed all day on May 5th.)
