Are you as ready to spring clean your closets as we are? At World's Window we're getting ready to start our 10th annual gently used clothing drive for Rose Brooks Center, providing emergency shelter and support to women and children escaping life-threatening abuse.

Your generous donations will give you a Golden Ticket to our "Fabulous Flipping Favorites Fiesta" grand finale party on May 7, 2015, when you can shop our store at 20% off and shop the hundreds of donated items at just $10 per hangar.

What are we doing?
We're bringing awareness to domestic violence by holding our annual "Flipping Favorites" clothing drive and shopping event at our store to benefit the women and children at Rose Brooks Center, Kansas City's largest domestic violence program. We're helping save lives and saying "no" to violence.

What do we do first?
Bring in clothing donations. Look for those lovely, but rarely worn items that have somehow moved to the back of your closet. Or perhaps items you love but need to donate to make room for something new. We want all those - the new and nearly new timeless and excellent quality items that someone else can love. Remember? We're flipping those favorites! Those choice items will both raise money for Rose Brooks Center and help us re-stock Rosie's Closet, the "store" at Rose Brooks Center, for the women who enter the shelter to start a new life.

Our partner Tower Cleaners has agreed to clean those few items that need some touching up, but we really want donations to arrive at our store clean and on hangars. And, ladies, check over your donations carefully. Please, no holes, no stains, no hems falling out, no missing buttons. After all, the women at Rose Brooks deserve the best!

So, when do we PARTY?
In exchange for your clothing donations, we'll will give you a Golden Ticket for your free entry to the first VIP hour of shopping at our "Flipping Favorites Fiesta" party on Thursday, May 7. Your Golden Ticket is also your entry form for a chance to win one of 4 $50 gift cards that will be drawn at the end of the evening. It promises to be our biggest party ever - hundreds of donated clothing items at $10 each, 20% discounts throughout our store, live jazz with a fiesta vibe, festive food, margaritas. It's a FIESTA - perhaps even "Frida" will show up!
